- Hudson, rated A XV, local-intermediate trucking, 1 or more units (AL, FL, GA, IN, KY, MD, MS, NC, OH, PA, SC, TN, VA, and WV) – GTU Exclusive Representation
- Occidental, rated A- VIII, long-haul and local-intermediate trucking, 1 or more units (AL, AR, FL, GA, IL, IN, IA, KS*, KY, MD, MI, MN, MS, MO, NC, NE, OH, PA, SC, TN, TX, VA, WV, and WI. *fleet only)
- Berkley Small Business Solutions, rated A+ XV, interstate trucking, 1 – 14 units (Currently AR, AZ, CO, IA, IL, IN, IA, KY, MI, MN, MO, MS, NV, SC, TN, WI with GA, KS, ME, OH pending)
- Berkley Prime, rated A+ XV, regional and long-haul trucking, 15 or more units (All States except AK, CA, HI, NY, MA, and WA)
- AIG, rated A+ XV, long-haul trucking, 11 or more units (All States except FL, MA, NJ, and NY)
Submission Requirements
HUDSON, OCCIDENTAL, BERKLEY SMALL BUSINESS SOLUTIONS, BERKLEY PRIME, AIG – most risks can be reserved 90 days prior to effective date (60 days for Berkley)
- Trucking Application
- Most thorough trucking apps will work to quote (except AIG which requires its own app)
- ACORD Forms are least desirable
- Carrier app will be required to bind
- 3 years of Currently Valued Loss Runs (4 years for over 10 units and all AIG and Berkley risks)
- MVRs (no more than 90 days old)
- Driver’s List including date of hire & experience with similar equipment
- Equipment List with Actual Cash Values for each unit
- IFTAs – most recent 4 quarters
- Acord 125 & Acord 126 if General Liability is needed – AIG

Driver Guidelines
HUDSON
- Minimum Age: 23 years (25 years for garbage or sand & gravel haulers).
- Minimum CDL Experience: 2 years
- No drivers with > 1 accident in last 3 years.
- No drivers with > 3 moving violations in last 36 months or > 2 moving violations in last 24 months.
- No drivers with major violations which include DUI, speeding > 25 mph, reckless driving, operating a motor vehicle with a suspended license.
OCCIDENTAL
- Minimum Age: 23 years
- Minimum CDL Experience: 2 years
- LFDOT Form required on any driver over 70.
- No driver over 65 with a violation.
- No drivers over 74.
- No drivers with > 2 accidents in last 3 years or > 2 including accidents in current year.
- No drivers with major violations which include DUI/DWI, homicide, manslaughter, or felony involving a vehicle, hit & run, reckless driving, operating a motor vehicle with a suspended license, permitting an unlicensed driver to drive, speeding > 20 mph.
- No driver with > 3 moving violations in the last 3 years or with > 2 moving violations (including at fault accidents as stated above) in the current year.
AIG
- Minimum Age: 23 years
- Minimum CDL Experience: 2 years
- LFDOT Form required on any driver over 65.
- Point System: No more than 3 points allowed in last 36 months.
– 1 Point: Speeding > 15 mph or any other moving violation.
– 2 Points: Speeding > or = 15 mph, following too closely, or improper lane change.
– 2 Points: Any at-fault accident.
– 3 Points: Accident caused by u-turn in a commercial vehicle.
– Non-moving violations (e.g., equipment or seat belt) are 1 point for every 3 occurrences within the last consecutive 36 month period. - No drivers with major moving violations in last 5 years including a DUI or test refusal reckless driving, hit & run, leaving scene of an accident, passing a school bus.
BERKLEY PRIME
- Minimum Age: 23 years
- Minimum CDL Experience: 2 years
- No drivers with > 3 minor violations or, > 1 major & 1 minor violation, within 36 months.
- Minor violations include speeding 5-10 mph over the limit and/or equipment violations.
- No drivers with specific major moving violations which include DUI, reckless driving, speeding > 20 mph.
